RB Cunninghame Graham (1852-1936), politician, writer, horseman, adventurer, humanitarian, is one of the most consequential figures in late 19th/early 20th century Scottish politics and culture. James Jauncey tells his extraordinary story and looks at why he remains largely unknown.
James (Jamie) Jauncey is Don Roberto’s great-great-nephew and most recent biographer. He has published several novels and served for many years on the board of the Edinburgh
International Book Festival. A writer, blogger and musician, he lives in Perthshire.
