Club Calendar

Timo Marchant is a Leith-based pianist and keyboardist. Having started off as a classical musician, Timo found his passion in jazz, honing his skills under the tutelage of Al Blatter and Richard Michael and completing two stints at the Guildhall summer school in London. His playing reflects the qualities of the jazz giants he admires: the lyricism of Bill Evan’s, the expressiveness of Keith Jarrett, and the irresistible swing-feel of Wynton Kelly, among others. Timo will provide repertoire from the Great American Songbook and the great jazz standards, setting the perfect backdrop for a an evenings conversation with friends old and new at the SAC.
