Alexander! 

 Alexander, son of Philip II of Macedon, conquered the Persian Empire and hence controlled the world from the Adriatic Sea to the Indus River, all before he was 30 years old. For this he is variously held to be “Great”, or “A rogue with a global appetite for plunder”.
