Our Venue
If you need a venue that is unique, creative and can support bespoke events for you, then we would love to help.
We have a variety of spaces available for private hire (from 2 – 60 capacity) to both members and non-members, suitable for personal and corporate events.
An example of events we have hosted include: intimate dinners; weddings; wake’s;Â corporate AGM’s; graduation lunches; team building and birthdays.
We will support you, our inhouse Chef can facilitate your catering needs and we can source any special requirements.

The Club Room
Our traditional drawing room is the perfect space for talks, recitals and events. Suited to a range of performances from string quartets to contemporary bands to book launches. This versatile and calm space is available for private hire and is perfect for your next event. The traditional decoration offers a feeling of comfortable grandeur of a previous era and guests love being surrounded by the works of local or visiting artists in our gallery.
Cosy fires, an intimate bar space, all overlooking the wonderful Rutland Square to the front or our private scenic garden to the back. Versatile and flexible for your needs.

The Dining Room
Our dining room offers perfect solutions from a business lunch, family gathering to an intimate wedding reception. We endeavour to take the stress out of your events to ensure that the planning process is as enjoyable as possible. We offer a bespoke service to ensure that every experience is unique to the occasion.
From canapes to simple buffet to fine dining – nothing is too much trouble!
This versatile space is also perfect for a product launch, pop up shop or photo shoot. The Dining Room is decorated with works from our exclusive, permanent collection or a specific exhibition..

Top Floor – The Studio
& John Calder Room
The sunny front facing Studio is used for a wide range of artistic activities. It is available for private hire. Whether you are looking for a quiet work space, to run a workshop or a corporate away day, the Studio is a versatile space for any artistic or creative project.
Facing the garden to the back is the John Calder Room – a convivial space for meetings with a film screen and a wonderful collection of books.
