Sam will set the mood for your Friday drinks with some gentle, background piano ballads. He will play some original music as well as improvise around some music written by artists including John Coltrane and folk singer Vashti Bunyan, as well as some contemporary jazz musicians such as Alabaster Deplume and Yussef Dayes.

Sam is a bassist and composer with seven-piece neo soul and jazz band Eloi, and performs regularly with acts across Edinburgh, he also occasionally moonlights as a bar-tender. His compositions have featured on BBC Radio 3's 'Round Midnight' and his playing on BBC Radio Scotland.
