Lorenzo Cortes & Timmy Allan
We welcome back swinging Colombian Guitarist Lorenzo Cortes. A unique performer with an urgency and fire behind his playing that is uniquely his signature style, which he combines with a respectful nod towards the mighty Charlie Christian and Eddi Lang 1930s – two legends of Hot Swing guitar.
After creating a great rapport at the Club before we are excited he is performing with Timmy Allan – another fabulous jazz musician known to the Club.
Timmy Allan won the best instrumentalist award in the Scottish Jazz awards and was the BBC Young Jazz Musician of the Year 2024.
This will be a fantastic night!

The Scottish Arts Club hosts various dining and evening events, such as the annual St. Andrew’s Night dinner, and other events like concerts and talks. The Dining Room can accommodate formal dinners of up to 50 but can be partitioned for more intimate events
