TRET Trio
Rob Hall, Scottish musician and composer who previously played his modern compositional work with Chick Lyall for the Trust, is commencing a European Tour with his Trio. The Premiére takes place on Friday 9th October at the Scottish Arts Club (sponsored by the Scottish Arts Trust).
The lineup is Scottish multi-instrumentalist Rob Hall (saxophone, clarinet and piano), renowned German jazz guitarist Philipp van Endert and outstanding German pianist Tobias Weindorf who present a diverse programme of modern lyrical, adventurous music and reinterpreted repertoire from the jazz canon. With their extensive touring experience, they have produced dozens of recordings featuring luminaries such as Kenny Wheeler, Jim Mullen, Lee Konitz and many others, and composed new music penned by soloists and orchestras.
A rare opportunity to hear these three exceptional musicians together live in the Club Room of the Scottish Arts Club. The first concert of the Tour.
Dining Events
The Scottish Arts Club hosts various dining and evening events, such as the annual St. Andrew’s Night dinner, and other events like concerts and talks. The Dining Room can accommodate formal dinners of up to 50 but can be partitioned for more intimate events
